Raw Material & Fiber Origin

Tencel is produced from a wood pulp. The wood used for the production comes from a FSC certified & sustainable managed forests.

Wood Origin: Austria & Czech Republic (Paskov)

Fiber Origin: Lenzing, Austria

Textile Manufacturing

The textile is produced in a unique closed loop process. This solvent-spinning process recycles water and reuses the solvent at a recovery rate of more than 99% - minimising the environmental impact of the textile manufacturing process.

The textile is made in Portugal in mills own by RDD Textile company.

Fabric Origin & Our Supplier

The final fabric is compostable and biodegradable, so it can fully revert back to nature. Furthermore, RDD Textile is a GOTS certified company and their mills run on 25% renewable energy.

We order this Tencel Jersey from our supplier in Germany.

Design Process

Each of the ADVA pieces is designed in our London studio. The entire process, first thoughts, mood boards and samples, take place in there.

Our studio runs on renewable energy, to minimise the environamental impact.


Garment Production

Our garments are ethically made in the UK and the Czech Republic. We personally know each of our seamstresses and we visit them regularly.

This is where our story pauses and your begins. You are now part of your dress's story.

End of Life

Here is where the story ends. Please donate the dress, share it, swap it with your friends. When the condition do not allow it, recycle it.

How to Dispose of the dress

The dress can be composted or recycled. We source from nature and our garments go back to nature.

It you'd like to recycle it, contact us and we'll take it back and do it for you.

Otherwise, cut the dress into strips and bring it to your local center to be commercially composted.

INSIDE

100% TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers

100% GOTS certified threads

WASH CARE

Wash in cold water using environamentally friendly detergant. (Do not overwash, wash with love).

Always air dry. Do not use drying machines.

Iron on medium temperatures. Or steam it.

TIP: use steam that comes from taking a shower. Believe us it does the job (and you'll save energy).

Do not bleach. In any case.
