The trousers and Fresh Start have become our best-sellers since they were introduced in the SS23 collection. These in brown are part of our AW23 collection and are made from 100% Refibra Tencel™. Read where it comes from and how the material from which they are made is processed.

Refibra Tencel™ is made from wood pulp and cotton waste. The wood used for production comes from FSC-certified forests and sustainably managed forests. And cotton scraps are leftovers from garment factories. The certified forests from which the wood for our production is harvested are in Austria and the Czech Republic (Paškov). Raw material is processed in Austria.

Textile production takes place in a unique process with a closed cycle. This solvent spinning process recycles water and reuses solvent with a recovery rate of over 99%, minimizing the environmental impact of the fabric manufacturing process. The textile is produced in Turkey.

The resulting fabric is compostable and biodegradable, it can be fully returned to nature. The addition of recycled cotton scraps not only reduces the amount of waste materials, but also reduces the wood content. This manufacturing process reduces the environmental impact by using fewer primary raw materials. We order this material from our supplier in Germany.

There are several options to extend the life of the product. In addition to gentle care, you can resell the product, exchange it with your partner or resell it.

If the product is in a condition where this is no longer possible, please recycle it. The most ideal way to do this is to cut the garment into narrow strips and take it to a local recycling center. In the case of GOTS certification, it is also possible to use your own home compost.
