The Elevated Stripe Tencel Set is a piece created by upcycling our Power Wrap dresses. It was launched as a drop in the summer of 2024, and the initial idea behind creating upcycled limited-edition drops was to utilize sufficient stock from our stores in the UK. Read about where the material used to sew it comes from and how it is processed.

Tencel is processed from wood pulp. The wood used for production comes from FSC-certified forests and forests managed in a sustainable manner. The certified forests from which the wood for our production is harvested are located in Austria and the Czech Republic (Paskov). The raw material is processed in Austria.

Textile production takes place in a unique closed-loop process. This solvent spinning process recycles water and reuses solvent with a recovery rate of over 99%, thereby minimizing the environmental impact of the fabric manufacturing process. The fabric is produced in Portugal.

The resulting textile is compostable and biodegradable, meaning it can fully return to nature. Furthermore, RDD Textile holds a GOTS certificate, and its factories use 25% renewable energy. We order this Tencel material from our supplier in Germany.

There are several options to extend the life of the product. In addition to gentle care, you can resell the product, exchange it with your partner or resell it.

If the product is in a condition where this is no longer possible, please recycle it. The most ideal way to do this is to cut the garment into narrow strips and take it to a local recycling center. In the case of GOTS certification, it is also possible to use your own home compost.
