The Meet the Volume skirt was introduced as part of our Fall 2024 drop. Read about the origin of the material it is made from and how it is processed.

The cotton fiber, as well as the entire production process and the final fabric, are GOTS certified. This means that the cotton seeds can be grown alongside food crops. The cotton is non-GMO and is not treated with any hazardous chemicals or pesticides. The soil is managed, and water is conserved. Crop rotation is practiced, which allows the soil to regenerate. The cotton plantations are located in the Izmir region of Turkey.

The fabric production process is GOTS certified, just like its cultivation. This guarantees that all hazardous chemical substances are prohibited and all wastewater is treated. Factories are regularly audited to ensure ethical standards are upheld. All chemicals used must meet strict standards and must be biodegradable. The fabric is processed in Portugal in factories powered by green energy.

The resulting textile is free from harmful and toxic chemicals, carcinogens, etc. This means it is safe for your skin and for the seamstresses who sew your clothes. Our supplier is based in Germany.

The Meet the Volume skirt is an upcycled piece made from unsold items from past collections. In this way, we are saving the planet and its resources.

There are several options to extend the life of the product. In addition to gentle care, you can resell the product, exchange it with your partner or resell it.

If the product is in a condition where this is no longer possible, please recycle it. The most ideal way to do this is to cut the garment into narrow strips and take it to a local recycling center. In the case of GOTS certification, it is also possible to use your own home compost.
