When I thought about starting a sustainable fashion brand three years ago, I always knew it would be more than just a brand. I founded ADVU with the intention of giving you the opportunity to shop for clothes that don't harm the planet or people.

But most of all, I wanted to make a difference in the industry and build a company that has sustainability at its core.

And here I am pleased to present to you our new manifesto, or mission statement if you will.

CIRCULARITY.

The most important word after sustainability.

We live in a world where overproduction, overconsumption and excess waste are commonplace. I believe that if we tried to incorporate the mechanism of the circular economy into our lives, we could change this. It's a long way, but it's worth it. This fashion system is clearly broken, so it's up to us to do something about it.

With our new collection introduced in September, we have come closer to our goal. We have introduced a collection that is made only from 100% natural certified organic or upcycled materials, which means that there is no harm to the environment or people when it comes to this area. Our garments are sewn with care by our seamstresses and all ethical standards are followed during production. Every piece from the new collection is 100% biodegradable - this is a huge step for us as it means there is no waste after your piece is finished being worn. Finally, every garment we make is not harmful to your skin.

And finally, I can proudly say that we have begun to give back to our beautiful nature by planting one tree for every product sold. Because we have to take care of the environment, no one else will do it for us.
