ADVA Gift Guide Let us help you to find this year perfect gifts.

Our Materials

Since 2019 we only work with natural and fully biodegradable 100% single fibre fabrics - no blends anymore. This means that if one of our garments end up on landfill, it will disappear without harming our planet.

This is a one step closer for us to achieve a circular system. Natural single fibres are easier to recycle and are also biodegradable, and some of them compostable at home.

Organic Cotton, GOTS certified

It's grown using methods and materials that have a low impact on the environment. GOTS certified cotton uses significantly less water to grow and zero harmful toxins, pesticides or chemicals. It's kind to our planet and our skin. It's biodegradable as well as compostable.

It's a cellulose fibre derived from a wood pulp (sourced from FSC certified forests) in a unique closed loop that recycles almost 100% of water and a solvent. The final fabric is gentle to the skin, has better moisture management than cotton and it's biodegradable.

Organic Wool

It's one of the most natural material in the world. It keeps you warm but it also let your skin breathes. It is naturally water repellent and it's long-lasting. It's also 100% biodegradable. Our wool is certified organic elbwolle™ - that means animal welfare is guaranteed.

Flax is one of the oldest and strongest natural fibres. It is grown easily and quickly, requires no chemicals and no irrigation during its cultivation. The final material is breathable and cool to wear in summer. It is anti-static and naturally insect resistant. It can be composted and it's fully biodegradable.

It's a blend of Tencel and post-consumer cotton. It's produced in a closed-loop production cycle; the solvents used to process the wood and cotton fibres are 99.7% captured and can be used over and over again; the only outputs are REFIBRA and water. The process also reduces the use of water by 95% compared to cotton fabric manufacturing and does not pollute the air, soil or water.

It's a natural textile made from the pulp of a bamboo grass. It grows rapidly without the use of pesticide, fertilizers or herbicides. It is 100% biodegradable. We only work with a 100% bamboo for our bamboo silk collection. Thanks to being it a single fibre material, it can be easily recycled, and it is Oeko-Tex 100 certified.
