transparency is an integral part of a sustainable future

Story.

The upcycled Second-Skin Slim dress was introduced as part of the new Fall 2024 drop. Read about where the material it is made from comes from and how it is processed.

The cotton fiber, as well as the entire production process and the final fabric, are GOTS certified. Both the cotton and the bamboo used in the material blend originate from Turkey.

The fabric production process, just like its cultivation, is GOTS certified. This guarantees that all hazardous chemicals are prohibited and all wastewater is treated. Factories are regularly inspected to ensure ethical standards are upheld. All chemicals used must meet strict standards and be biodegradable. The fabric is processed in Turkey in certified factories.

The resulting textile contains no harmful or toxic chemicals, carcinogens, etc. This means it is safe for your skin as well as for the seamstresses who sew your clothes. Our supplier is based in Wales, UK.

This material was one of the first we began using in 2017. It no longer meets our current criteria, but these are a limited number of pieces made from unsold Wear Me slim dresses in size L.
